David Harms
Having started in radio in 1979 (can it really be that long ago?!…sigh) and working in all aspects of a radio station operation, David Harms branched out and founded The Idea Agency in 1997. Over the next 11 years he led a team which used radio exclusively to help raise millions of dollars for rescue missions, homeless shelters, and international ministries such as World Vision. On March 1, 2008 David left that position to launch i58:10 Media and integrate all forms of electronic media – not just radio – in support of ministries that reach out to the poor.
David lives with his wife Barbara and three daughters in Wilsonville, Oregon.
Duane Harms (yup, they’re brothers)
Before joining the i58:10 Media team in March 2008 Duane spent 21 years in charge of all the production elements for the daily radio program “Money Matters” and the short version “How to Manage Your Money.” In his spare time (yeah right!) Duane produced numerous episodes of the “Adventures in Odyssey” series for Focus on the Family and contributed his considerable talents to other productions such as “Focus on the Family Radio Theatre.” Duane now heads up the Production and Sound Design department at i58:10 Media.
Duane and his wife Cheryl are “empty nesters” and live in Gainesville, GA
Jordan Chesbrough
Jordan is a photographer and graphic designer in Portland Oregon. He was the Director of Creative Design at Grace Chapel in Wilsonville Oregon for 5 years before joining i58:10 Media. Jordan’s photos have been published in books, album covers, music videos and several magazines including Relevant Magazine.
Jordan and his wife are passionate about social justice and global issues and have together spent time in Rwanda and Mexico. They live outside Portland in the burbs.
Sybil Johnson
Sybil Johnson brings 15 years of media experience to the i58:10 team, the last four years managing key accounts in client services. She is experienced in developing marketing plans, managing media budgets and improving relationships with a wide variety of clients. Past experience includes account management for Draftfcb, one of the world’s largest advertising agencies, and client services for Entercom Communications in Portland. Sybil is also a voice talent with several years behind the microphone for multiple broadcast stations including Portland’s 104.1 The Fish and KPDQ-FM.
She has been involved with the Portland Urban Ministry Project since 2001, helping bring the liberating message of the Gospel to inner city kids and families. Sybil also spent 9 months living in Haiti prior to the earthquake, working with outreach ministries, orphanages and schools. She looks forward to helping the poorest of the poor and the neighbor next door through her work at i58:10 Media.
