Most amazing encounter with someone in need?
On a mission trip in Nicaragua during my senior year of college, I met a man named Jose who worked with the mission organization we were with. Throughout the week, I learned more and more about his story while we painted a metal roof on a school. Even after telling about how he has had to choose between paying for his children’s school or bringing home dinner for the night, his face lit up and he consistently said, “God is still good. He always provides what we need.” That’s faith!
Why do you do what you do for i58:10 Media?
I have a passion for seeing what God is capable of doing on a day to day basis. I’m very analytical and organized, so my role as project manager allows me to exercise both components each day.
Describe your family?
I have an older brother who is married and lives in Portland. My parents both live in Portland. My brother, dad and I love bonding over a friendly (and competitive) game of golf. We enjoy wine tasting in Oregon Wine Country and taking trips to Mexico together. As my brother and I have moved out of our childhood home, it seems that a simple evening with everyone at mom and dad’s dinner table is the best way to spend time together.
What is a quote that has had the biggest impact on your life?
“Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31
